Alexander Lynch

Alexander Lynch serves as Chief Commercial Officer at The Argyle Group.

Alexander's career spans strategic reputation management, crisis counsel, political engagement, and strategic advisory. For the past decade, he has led Google's public policy campaigns on emerging technologies and economic issues across Australia and New Zealand; engaged internationally in negotiations on the development and governance of technologies like artificial intelligence; advised on complex infrastructure deployments; and provided close strategic guidance enabling senior group executives to navigate through the most challenging issues facing the company.

Before Google, Alexander worked for John Connolly & Partners, a world leader in successfully handling difficult and sensitive issues for clients. Prior to that, he worked in the foreign affairs community on issues of national security and diplomacy.

Alexander holds a bachelor of science and postgraduate qualifications in international diplomacy from Victoria University of Wellington. He engages regularly in public diplomacy on issues at the nexus of technology investment and national security, and is frequently sought out by government and the press for his insights.
