Margaret Walrod
Chief Operating Officer, The Argyle Group
Margaret joined The Argyle Group in 2025 and oversees the company's strategy and operations, including systems, people, and internal processes.
Before joining The Argyle Group, Margaret spent more than a decade in the United States Foreign Service. She worked in the bureaus of Consular Affairs, Intelligence and Research, Global Public Affairs, and South and Central Asian Affairs, before serving overseas in the embassies in Beijing, Seoul, Canberra, and Wellington. Her work focused on advising senior decision-makers on geopolitical, commercial, and national security issues across the Asia-Pacific region, and on leading multi-stakeholder initiatives at the intersection of government, business, and technology.
She holds a BA from George Washington University, an MA from the University of Washington, and is completing an MBA from the University of New South Wales' Australian Graduate School of Management.
