Nour Salmen Guzman

Nour Salmen Guzman is a senior energy executive with more than 25 years of commercial, business development and M&A leadership across the Americas and international markets. Based in Houston, she leads The Argyle Group’s global work in energy, as well as our business in North America.
Nour spent 14 years at Shell, most recently leading commercial opportunities in energy transition and integration, where she originated 5 GW of energy infrastructure projects for hyperscale and enterprise data centres. Before that, she held senior roles in Shell’s renewables and energy solutions and integrated gas and new energies businesses. She led Shell’s LNG market entry in Panama and its nature-based solutions strategy for Latin America.
Earlier, she spent a decade at BP and Castrol in M&A, business development, and finance roles across Latin America.
Nour has worked in over 30 countries, and has built deep relationships with corporations, governments, investors, academia and start-up ecosystems across the United States and Latin America.
Nour holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Management and Organisational Development from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, has completed executive programs in negotiation and leadership at Harvard University and in energy innovation at Stanford University, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
